Salt, that's the name of this fish and chip shop, and as the name may very likely indicate they have plenty of it.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are excellent, especially the grilled flake. The staff is friendly and the portions are generous. Despite no longer being within walking distance, we are willing to make the drive here.

This is hands down the best fish and chip shop in the Northern Suburbs. The fresh fish, especially the Couta, is excellent. The scallops, potato cakes, and chips are also delicious. The proprietor and staff are friendly and extremely generous. I even drive past three other fish and chip shops in Fawkner just to go to this one.
