Berlews Hoagies - Moosic

I grew up enjoying Berlew's and used to visit often. Their tuna and Italian hoagies are absolutely delicious! A few years ago, when my family and I returned to Pennsylvania for a visit, we made sure to stop by and grab both types of hoagies, and my wife and son loved them. It’s a charming little family-run shop, and the service has always been excellent. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Honestly, I’d do just about anything for one of their hoagies right now!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was warmly greeted upon entering. When I mentioned it was my first visit, they were excited that I chose to try them out. I ordered the 12-inch Italian hoagie, which comes with oregano, lettuce, tomato, cheese, meat, and dressing. I opted for sweet peppers and swapped the dressing for mayonnaise. The hoagie was incredibly delicious—the bun was wonderfully soft, and I could really taste the freshness of the meats and cheese. It made for a delightful lunch. I also sampled what seemed to be homemade root beer, which had a fantastic flavor. If it turns out it wasn’t homemade, I apologize for the assumption! The hoagie cost $6.50, and my total was $9.81. They even provided napkins without me having to ask. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return!

I absolutely love the tuna at that restaurant. It's definitely my favorite!

Zero stars. Twice I went here and twice they Left out peppers, mayo, and oil.

Delicious. There's a reason there's a line all the time. Rolls are excellent. Meat is plentiful. Service is great... and the cooler has your favorite old time soda in bottles! I don't drink soda and I still buy it!
