Carol's Catering Cafe - Moose Jaw

A really nice classic highway diner experience! This place felt very authentic to its rural roots! Our server Joanne was helpful and welcoming. The food was solid and priced very well! The combos are “trucker style” so they have a little extra food on them. I also appreciated the local art that was showcased on the walls from local artists. Prints and painting featuring the prairie beauty was great to see. Definitely a cool place to stop in!

Would have given a five star as food was fantastic waitress left much to he desired however not telling people items they ordered aren't available

Staying the night on Moose Jaw so thought I’d order from Carols, the reviews were decent and I love a good hot beef sandwich and nachos. Ordered on Skip (because I don’t have a car here) and it came quickly. While the roast beef itself was good, the gravy was clumpy, the mashed potatoes were lumpy and cold and the frozen carrots were over cooked. Subsequently, the nachos, while a decent portion had almost no cheese, the cheese wasn’t even melted and there was an exorbitant amount of peppers and no black olives. Black olives are my favourite part of nachos so this was very disappointing. The other disappointing thing about the nachos is they were made with a hamburger patty chopped up. It tasted fine but it would have been nice to know that’s what it was going to come as. I would have ordered something else. All in all, I paid $50 with tip and didn’t enjoy my meal. Maybe dining in would be different but if skip is your only option, I’d avoid it.

Truly horrible. Went on Thanksgiving for their turkey dinner. Was there minutes after they opened and waited 2.5 hours before some of our order even came. Then was treated to the most tasteless meal ever . Mashed potatoes like glue. Soupy dressing. Dry turkey. Foul foul foul. They were too interested in take out orders. Very disappointing. Whole restaurant was full of angry people
