We had lunch arranged by some family members who were familiar with this restaurant. The meals were good Australian Italian ie not terribly authentic. They had a good lunch special for $15 but two of our members ordered the Barramundi which cost something like $34...from the main menu, and didn't realise it was on the daily specials menu.So one person paid $15 for the exact same meal which left them feeling a bit ripped off afterwards. The waitress should have let them know this I believe. The food was average, but nothing special.
Was so disappointed with the quality of food ordered from here. they see to use the cheapest ingredients and it shows. If you want good Italian, go to Moorebank Hotel
We went to celebrate my wife and my ex wife’s birthdays. We have been a number of times over the last few years. Enjoyed the garlic bread and both couples had the seafood plate for two. Very nice seafood, could be improved with some added...fresh fruit. Deserts were great and so was the coffee. One thing badly needed is the lighting is too bright, felt like Coles cafeteria. Service was good and overall enjoyed the night.
We came here for my partners birthday and we live locally so have been here quite a few times before. When we arrived the waitress took our drink order but only for my partner she didn’t ask me if I wanted a drink. We ordered...calamari with mesclun salad for $17.90 as we have had it before. The calamari was terrible, they only brought out 5 pieces and it looked and tasted like it was from the frozen section at woolworths. The salad looked old and dry. We left it on our table and just couldn’t eat it. The waitress came up and asked if everything was alright and we let her know nicely that the calamari was not good. She tried to say that they are having problems with chefs as they keep leaving. She had no idea about customer service and kept making excuses. She took it away and we then waited for our mains. After about 50 mins we still hadn’t received our mains. My partner asked the waitress how long they would be and then the owner (older woman) came up and asked us what was the problem! My partner explained that we have been waiting for so long and there’s only 2 other people in the restaurant. She was very rude she tried to say that since I had ordered a well done that it takes a long time. She started getting quite nasty and told us to leave or she would call the cops in front of the other 2 customers. I was in shock I explained it was my partners birthday and she just kept saying you need to leave and that we had to pay for the calamari. She was just so rude and ruined my partners birthday dinner. I still can’t beleive she said she would call the cops when we hadn’t done anything apart from not wanting the calamari. I don’t recommend going here, this place is not what it used to be and having the owner abuse my partner on his birthday is disgusting. I offered to pay for the drink but she was being rude and sarcastic and said if I would like to give a tip as well. Food is overpriced and the quality is terrible(including the service)
