I have spoken to a female employee who, however, did not hear my booking on account of any reason the female employee could not confirm me. my mobile number. I could hear them very clearly, but she could not hear that I confirmed my handy number. the phone call was shut down. I called back to confirm my phone number and again the female staff member could not hear me talking at the other end of the phone. the phone call is off. I called again and got the voice mail service in which I left a voice mail confirming my phone number and that I would see the team in this night. I have not received a confirmation text about our booking as I have in past, but assumed that the team has problems with the telephone line service, which happens from time to time with companies. we came to the beach bar and grill mooloolaba and we talked to a female worker who welcomed us at the top of the stairs. we do not remember their names. I said I have a booking for people who have my partner, our years of daughter and our business partner who drove out of brisbane to eat with me and family and stayed for the weekend at the sunshine coast in mooloolaba. the female employee said, sorry that I have no booking under nikki, they have received a sms from us that confirms their booking. I said to the weeping, no I did not, I booked, but showed him the call log on my phone, which showed how the time I made the booking to beach bar and grill and explained the situation regarding the phone call earlier on the afternoon. the weeping then said: I'm sorry we didn't have anything to do for them. I said, I told him that we had a booking for tonight for pm and again show reece the call log on my phone, reece cut me off and said, I don't know that someone cries to my staff. I said, excuse her, I don't scream, I have a book for people here. reece said I'm going to settle for you, but don't yell at me. reece was very rude and abrupt. I said I don't scream, I don't have a reason to scream, I just showed them the call log on my phone and declares that it's a problem with the phone line this afternoon, that's all. reece then said that you still scream, they can go thanks now. I said what means. reece said, go now. our daughter, who is years old, then said why will this man be angry at mummy. then I asked reece what his name was. he said reece, oh and I'm the manager on the way. I was destroyed. my partner was shocked and my daughter was scared that an unknown became angry with her mother. I was absolutely shocked with what happened. we couldn't believe we were just asked to leave. as a family of children and staying at the sunshine coast, we could not believe what was happening with us and how we were just treated. beach bar and grill is a place we refer to as “Our locals”, a place we speak very much about, and a place where we recommend so many people we meet and see and often go have a beer, dinner or lunch in. this is a place where we take part at least at times in the month with family, friends and work meetings, birthdays and engagement celebrations and we have just been humiliated as a family and asked to go and accused of screaming, not only coworkers. reeces abshy, his posture and his customer service were the worst experiences my family and I have ever experienced in our lives and what has upset us most was the fact that our year old daughter had feared that a man became angry at her mother. then we had to make the call to our business partner to tell him that we were asked to leave beach bar and grill because we were charged for screaming and the manager under the name reece asked us all to go. as director and business owners themselves we fully understand that every good day and bad day has, while working, but asking for a family to leave a restless and accuses the family for screaming after the attempt to explain a problem with a booking is absolutely appalling, unprofessional and devastating to speak as we did. we sent an e-mail to advise the company's owner and we had no answer. Eating is amazing, otherwise only a scandal that we were treated as we were.
This place has the best ribs and steaks. views are also ****. a lot of great beers on tap.
Sit on the balcony, drink/eat and enjoy the vista with views of mooloolaba. casual bistro dining room, but very nice and affordable.
She went along the Mooloolaba esplanade and searched for a place to eat and almost passed by the small entrance to the beach bar and grill. look at the menu and thought we would try. on the stairs and was warmly welcomed and welcomed. put our order at the bar together with drinks. a few steak specials, a steak and ripen and a chicken wing lured. now, the presentation was excellent, and the steak was cooked to perfection. the flesh just fell off the ribs. very tasty and very full was the report of all four of us. good work!
Awesome friendly staff. Food is amazing. Great range of beers on tap. Anyone who doesn’t love this place is way too hard to please.
