Restaurant Yuan végétarien

I’ve had food delivered from Yuan several times and it’s decent. But nothing beats the all you can eat at the restaurant. They have a huge vegan sushi menu including vegan fish and shrimp. They also have many warm options, tempura, soups, noodles, tofu dishes and faux meat dishes. My favourite is the crispy “beef” in a sweet and tangy sesame sauce.

I love yuan, especially the all you can eat service that is a super great value. The take out/delivery is also cheap and the portions are generous. My all time favourite is the eggplant tao!!!

Tried eel nigiri and imperial roll — pretty good flavours and a metric f tonne of choice for vegans. Inexpensive for what u get as well good portion sizes for sushi!!!!!

We took the all you can eat menu, I was surprised by their options of plant-based chicken , beef , see-food . We tried a lot of things. Also, most of their menu is vegan and they specify which dishes contain milk or eggs. Great textures, great flavors, it was nice. I wanted to have some dessert but the only vegan option they had was a brownie and I do not like these. The other desserts they offered had dairy products in them. They could offer more vegan desserts. over all, we had a good meal.

NOT GOING BACK terrible service My experience was not reallly great. The food was nice and what I expected for a 10$ lunch menu, but one of the waitresses just could not get her head wrapped around the idea that I needed my food to be both gluten and dairy free. The first waitress, the shorter one (I was there yesterday for lunch), took the time to ask the cook for information and offered me stir fried vegetables without sauce as my only option outside sushi. When she brought my plate, she put a sauce on the side that she claimed was tamari, but it was red and did not taste like tamari at all. It was actually flavourless and very oily, so I was glad it was on the side. I ordered the crispy shitake mushrooms and am praying that she was honest about it being gluten and dairy free. When it came time to ask about the dessert included in the lunch menu, I spoke with the other waitress who said the day's choice was a brownie or ice cream. I mentioned my intolerances, so she asked the cook then came back and said the brownie had gluten, so I could have the ice cream. I repeated about the dairy intolerance, so she said I could have the brownie. I just told her to stop and never mind, which seemed to have highly disappointed her. When it came time to pay, the short waitress made it to the cash first and charged me the price for the dinner menu! When I asked to correct that, she said it was basically the same thing, but I was there at lunch time! The debit machine took a long time to work. Needless to say, I did not leave a tip and I'm not going back.
