フィードバックを提供するThis was my 1st time coming here, despite the fact that I am always in the neighbourhood (1 minute walk from the library). It is obvious that not much time was spent in décor, but the prices are so reasonable that I say if it ain 't broke, don 't fix it . I was quickly given the menu and a glass of water. I decided upon Combo 2 (small chicken soup with the chicken spring roll). I felt the portion size was exactly what I needed for lunch and it was fresh delicious (and filling). By 12:30, the place was packed. They have 5 tables that seat 4 and 1 that seats 6. I ate quickly so I could give up my place to STM employees. When I paid the bill, I was surprised to see that taxes were included. So, $7.25 for a healthy meal! I 'll definitely be back!
To me pho is to soup what gelato is to ice cream: fresh, delicate, sort of linen shirt rather than a wool sweater. I was in the St Denis Rosemount and popped into Pho Rosemount (it’s right in front of the Rosemount Metro) and that was exactly what I got. It is hardly a neighbourhood to find food easily it seemed to me, so this was a wonderful surprise. It is not a new place, indeed it could be described as dog eared if it were a book. But don’t let appearances deceive you. It is a delightful meal with fresh subtle broth, crunchy vegetables a good amount of chicken and a generous portion overall. I was there on a rainy, gloomy Tuesday in January and the steady stream of clients tells me that they needed cheering up on a dreary day too. It is not a touristy area of town, but if you are in the area this is worth looking for.
Always a treat to drop in for lunch or an early dinner. The Pho (a Vietnamese beef noodle soup that can also be ordered with chicken or shrimp) is among the best in town. A medium sized bowl is a huge meal for 1 and costs $8.00 (taxes included). The mixed meat soup is recommended a few small meat balls and different cuts of beef each with a different flavour and texture. Then add as much Thai basil, sprouts, and hoisin and chilli sauces as you like. This is soup worth meditating over. Everything is prepared fresh and served quickly. The menu is limited with spring rolls and grilled chicken and shrimp and various combinations which include a smaller portion of soup. Across from the Rosemont Metro station. This is a modest establishment. Nothing fancy and it is easy to be in and out in 30 minutes. Fast food that isn't fat food. Mmmm....
This is my first pho experience I tried a seafood one and the bouillon was pitch perfect ..
If vietnamese people recommend this place, must be good right? Came here after hearing so many vietnamese friends talk about this place: wasn't disappointed
