Friendly staff, especially our server Peter :D Good atmosphere and as for the rest... hmmm... We will definitely be going back! We all had a great time.
I had a great time at the restaurant, but the drink service was terrible. I waited over an hour for my drink, and if I had known it wasn't going to come, I would have gone to another place.
Amazing experience of walking, sitting at the table and eating in pitch black. This was so fun and so interesting to see how one can react when deprived of one of his most important senses, the sense of sight.Very good service (lol,) good food and overall a very nice experience.
On a wet, windy, slushy evening we made our way to Dans le Noir...from the start it is an experience as you arrive and are greeted in the bar to choose your menu and wait for Jack on duty that evening to lead you into the complete darkness to your table ah d help you seat yourself. HE literally appears...yes in the dark from nowhere with water, wine glass....we hang on to it for dear life, and the first course, escargots, crab cakes .which are delicious...we finally get to finish our plate, with a lot of trial and error. Next came the escalope the veau and tortellini..a few of the pasta escaped but we managed .then surprise dessert...and if desired coffee in the bar.You exit totally disorientated and greatful for that experience. from their voices many of the guests were young adults, as couples or trisomie. Jack has been with Au Noir for several years, having lost his eyesight since age 1andnow enjoying a full time job. Thank you Fabrice for your Xmas gift
