Bistro L'Inspi - Montréal

I was skeptical when I went to this restaurant with a friend on Friday evening and found it to be empty, but it exceeded my expectations.

Unfortunately, this restaurant is situated in a sector in the middle of a busy road near a theater, which can be quite disruptive.

I had a delicious duck hot dog with a side salad and a tasty bowl of homemade poutine at this restaurant. The cheese was smoked and the bread freshly baked. The wine selection was excellent and I definitely plan on returning!

We were looking for something a little different from all the chain restaurants we were seeing and this little Bistro was well worth walking all the way up St-Denis! Very friendly atmosphere. You could tell that the food was going to be prepared with care and passion just by the way Erick was describing the dishes, with pride and total confidence. The food was really tasty, extremely well presented, full of delightful flavours and served in just the right amount. Everything was fresh and local, the fish and the cheese smoked on the premises. All that we had (smoked fish, chicory salad, and chocolate pecan dessert) was absolutely delicious, including the sparkling wine! We also had the pleasure of meeting the Chef and that was a lovely touch. The prices are very reasonable. I will come back again next time I visit Montreal.

Two small butter flavored to accompany hot breads. It starts nicely. a ginger juice and hot soup carrots, followed by a smoked salmon home. It melts in the mouth. beautiful thick and tasty slices. Another choice, a strong cheddar, smoked also on the spot. as main dishes, a macreuse served with duck-fat pdt and smoky garlic butter (yet, but it's good), or sweet potatoes gnocchis with veal juice and bacon. friendly and personalized service, affordable glass wine. a beautiful friendly baby place, with space, which is not always acquired in this type of restaurant. I was gonna forget the dessert. cream taken with lime garnished with coriander cream. wow. small disappointment, a decline that is not one, strawberries, grapefruits, and beets. A less successful marriage.
