Fish and ship - Montpellier

Very good host server takes the time to explain and present the dishes and the various good English beersproducts fresh quality made home and copied very good relation quality / price we will return there with pleasure during our next stay in Montpellier

It was a first and certainly the last...When I read: "the best fish and ship of Montpellier"...I wonder if we ate the same thing...We are very far from the best fish and ship of Montpellier.At the rigor we can actually eat the best in beehive, a pub that recalls those of London. There's a lot of flavour. Fish and fried paste lack taste! Served friture is either too cooked or not enough... Besides, you don't feel beer at all in the dough. Service? not very professional but finally touching and friendly. The waiter was perhaps tired or beginner...The place has potential and you must absolutely review the recipe to be tip top.

We decided to dine in this restaurant in the light of all its positive opinions. Unfortunately we couldn't taste the famous fish an chips. Indeed, we arrived at 8:15, placed order quickly, had the drinks 20 minutes after and at 9:30 we were still not served. 1h15 waiting for a pane fish and fries we found it excessive especially that we had an appointment at 10:00. We asked the waiter who told us there was a problem in the kitchen. So we had to leave without even eating. Nevertheless, we will try to come back because the service was friendly and the drinks were offered to us in a commercial gesture.

Does not have to bend the real dish of outsleeve, fresh fish, homemade bread, perfect fries (possible sweet potato,) beers to the top.

The fish is not at all fat, which is a pleasant surprise, just like the fries! the service is smiling and the welcome is warm!
