Best hole-in-the-wall BBQ you are going to get for the price. While it is not the best you can get in town it is definitely the best for the price. Service is insanely quick and the BBQ sauce selection is very good. $7 gets you a pulled pork sandwich, fries and a drink. Also the fries are seasoned very well.Food: 4/5

The food was great. The table was clean, but not much else. The ceiling around the AC blower was filthy. A man took our order, and by the time we paid, it was ready for pickup at the next window. The tea (included) was bearly colored water. NO taste. This was my second time there, my wife 's first, and probably our last. Just too dirty, even for a BBQ joint.

Excellent food and customer service. Always fast when you're in a hurry. They are open for breakfast and lunch, but I often grab food and save it for dinner. For under $30, I grab 2 pulled pork plates and an extra medium side. It's enough to feed a family of 4 and still have some left over. Great overall value.Parking: It does get packed at lunch, but there is usually enough parking.

Hands down, the best BBQ in all of Montgomery. If this place isn't on a list of must visit restaurants in Alabama, it should be, and at the top. Yes, Dreamland, Jim and Nicks, and Shane's are all good, but this place is better, much better.The meat is seasoned and smoked to such tender, juicy, flavorful perfection, that it absolutely does not need any sauce. I could eat an entire pulled pork sandwich or a rack of ribs without any sauce at all, however, the sauces at Fatman's are so delicious I can't resist them.The owner, Ben Allen, has a great group of people working for him. He and his staff love all their customers and you can taste that love through the food.Put this place on your list, you won't regret it.Parking: Parking can be tricky during lunch, but don't give up if you can't find a spot at first.
