This restaurant offers a variety of Taiwanese desserts, and I really appreciate that they aren't as sweet as those at most other dessert places. They also use fresh fruits in their dishes, which is a nice touch. Additionally, there's parking available at the back of the restaurant.
I always enjoy visiting this place. My favorites are the tapioca drink and the Snow White dessert. I highly recommend giving this a try!
This place is delicious. Their durian roll and durian pancake were tasty. Although preferred the roll more. Light and silky. Love their fruit noodle soup. coconuty fruity slurpy goodness. Can't go wrong with warm and feel good dessert like the Ginger Osmanthus Sesame Balls and Papaya With White Fungus. Everything had the right amount of sweetness. You can order online but be sure to call and let them know you will be arriving to pick up your order as you cannot pay online. Takes about 15 minutes to prepare. And yes, we ordered all that in one night. Not one bad item.
We were craving some dessert and decided to try out Premier Dessert Art after checking out their extensive menu. From crepe pancakes to HK style sweet soups and drinks, it seemed like they had it all. I attempted to order online on their website (via QR code) and then went to pickup, but they said they didn't get the order and I couldn't find my confirmation. Despite the weird ordering ordeal, I ordered on the spot and was pretty excited to try them out. Unfortunately the wait time was about 30 minutes, but I understand since it seemed to be a family business. I ordered the crepe pancake combo (one mango and one taro). In their online pictures the taro pancake looked purple, but the one I got was yellow; the crepes were not too sweet which is good. I also got the black sesame paste+almond paste mix, as well as the black glutinous rice soups. The almond paste+black sesame were packaged separately which was good, but they tasted store bought and the black glutinous rice soup tastes a bit watered down compared to other dessert places I've had. The most disappointing was the gum (tou gau) with coconut milk dessert. Despite the name, they basically put some gum with regular milk, not coconut milk, so it tasted bland and watery. For the price, servings were also small. Overall the crepes are solid but there are many dessert places in LA, so depending on what you're looking for, you might want to try Cantonese desserts elsewhere.
