Hulafish - Monterey Park

Outstanding! The fish is incredibly fresh, there are numerous choices available, and the staff is exceptionally friendly!

If I were only considering the service, I would rate this restaurant a solid four to five stars. The staff were friendly and very helpful; they explained the menu options and shared their recommendations effectively. However, the food itself was just okay, and the prices felt a bit unjustified. The unagi don, in particular, seemed overpriced given the small portion of eel it contained. As for the tuna and other items, while their portions were still somewhat modest, they were an improvement. The flavors were decent, but when considering the value for money, there are certainly better options available at the same price elsewhere.

The dish had way too much rice and not nearly enough fish. I suggest looking elsewhere. There are much better poke spots in the area!
