Cafe Moderno - Montclair

I discovered this restaurant near a fish market that we frequently visit. On my first visit, I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki plate and chose Greek salad and hummus as my sides. My husband opted for the Lamb Gyro. It's a charming little gem tucked away in a shopping center. The food was delicious and refreshing; I'm sure we'll be back! Thank you!

I received the wrong order, and napkins were only provided at some tables, which had ketchup and pepper but no salt. However, the food is fantastic, and they were gracious enough to fix my order without charging extra. Overall, it's a great place with friendly staff, and the experience ended up being more amusing than a hassle. I'll definitely return if I'm in Montclair again.

The young woman who assisted my daughter and me was extremely friendly, and the gyros were delicious.

This was our first time here and we really liked the food. The cashier girl really works in the kitchen and clears tables, but the service was quite fast and pleasant. I recommend.

First experience coming here. Daughter ordered the gyro wrap. Wife ordered chicken and Greek salad. I ordered the gyro plate with potatoes and grilled vegetables. Everything was tasty. The chicken and gyro were cooked just right. Not dry at all. The vegetables were fresh. I asked my family if they would want to come back and they both agreed they would like to come back. Staff was friendly. The place is bigger on the inside than it looks. Give a try if you are interested in trying something different.
