Les esclapieres - Montauroux

A good friend introduced us to this very fine restaurant/cafe located just north of Lac du St Cassien on the right, just before the roundabout.

Just had lunch at this restaurant - all 12 of us (5 adults and 7 children). It was great. Great food and great service - friendly, efficient etc.. and reasonably priced.Highly recommended. I think someone else has said - don't judge it on location. Yes it is on the road, but do not worry about this.Will eat there again!

Excellent french fresh homemade food from starters to desserts. With very competitive price. Fantastic service. English spoken. I really recommend it! Bon Appetit!

You might dismiss the idea of eating here because of the outward appearance and position of this restaurant. But do give it a try. The chef and his wife are kindness itself and welcome you like old friends. We feel like they are now, as we eat there so often, including birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas Day. We've never been disappointed - the food is excellent and beautifully presented, particularly the desserts. It's such good value and we are hard pushed to find anywhere else in the area we like as much. The formule menu changes every day and I can't agree with a previous reviewer that it is unexciting.

Nice small restaurant with terrace, good reception, menu of the day and à la carte very well, good copyy cuisine, service with smile and sun in the rdv. que demander plus !!!! good continuation. It's worth a detour if you're in the corner or like us. Thank you for changing the covers after the fish.
