Cafe La Muffinerie - Mont-Laurier

This restaurant is terrible! The server who took our order was extremely rude and unhelpful. She got our order wrong and was overall unpleasant.

I will never be going back to this McDonald's again. I would rather drive to Wabash and deal with their terrible service. We have been here twice.

I would not recommend this restaurant. My mother-in-law visited about a month ago and found mold on their bread. None of the staff apologized for the issue.

Tucked away from the main road through Mont Laurier (with its Tim Hortons, McDonald's, etc.) is this gem of a café. What a joy it was to find this cute and charming café only a couple of blocks away!We came for breakfast (which is served all day) and sat outside on their little patio. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and helped translate the French menu for us.I really recommend the yoghurt breakfast, which included a goblet (!) of yoghurt with fresh fruits and granola. They had run out of croissants but changed it for toast instead, which was even better and really filled me up. Coffee is also good here (rare for this part of the world).The portion sizes are quite erratic though - my yoghurt plate was huge but the crepes were very small.The Muffinerie is both a café and bakery, so we also ordered a couple of muffins to take away. The banana one is amazing. If you're in Mont Laurier, don't miss this place!

Bravo to the whole team... a comfortable place to have a little meal... excellent for breakfast and lunch... and we have to try the soup
