Kosher Castle - Monsey

I would not call this fine dining but where else can you get a kosher hamburger for $11.00. the portions are generous....it was 5 pm and the place was empty service was quick...I like others question the vintage of the beef. My burger definitely looked a bit gray . You get what you pay for I suppose

Large selection of food with a good taste. There is plenty sittings available. It's basically a relaxing cozy place where to eat a good meal with your friends or family

The menu is extensive, and the food is fantastic. The dishes arrived quickly, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend trying the soft shell Mexican tacos!

I had to take away one star because my favorite dish at Layl Shishi is no longer on the menu. The VIP Cholent Plate, also known as the Heimishe Sombrero, was truly a standout item. It included cholent (made with beans or barley), potato kugel, kiskha, jachnun, eggs, Gedempte Fleish, and two slices of garlic toast. It was the perfect way to wrap up the workweek and prepare for Shabbos. However, the poppers are still a great choice, so I usually order those as my appetizer and find the sombrero elsewhere. Overall, it’s still solid eating.

The food is incredibly fast and delicious. Ordering through the touchscreen is easy and user-friendly, with most menu items featuring pictures. The prices are reasonable compared to most kosher restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Monsey—10/10!
