The Sugarloaf Coffee Shop

I recently stopped to have coffee and sat outside in the outdoor seating area. The restaurant provides free parking and it's a lovely spot to take a break and walk your dog. The menu looked enticing and I enjoyed my visit.

We arrived promptly and were seated by efficient staff. We chose to dine indoors, where all doors were open to let in a cool breeze. COVID protocols were in place, which was reassuring. One member of our group was gluten-free and was provided with delicious bread. We enjoyed coffee, wine tastings, and a cheese platter. It's advisable to make a reservation, as the restaurant was busy with customers waiting. The only downside was the flimsy napkins. Overall, we had a great experience and have already made another booking to bring family members.

This restaurant is a wonderful place to visit in the summer. We ordered the mixed platter which was delicious, and sitting outside with a bottle of local white wine while enjoying the food and scenery was perfect. We also tried their takeout service recently, and the food was nicely packaged and there was plenty of it.

Great food, fantastic views, friendly staff, dog friendly I would recommend to anyone, well worth a visit.

We popped in here on our way back from walking Sugarloaf. We had the Mixed Share platter and a glass of rose. What a fabulous lunch. The weather was amaxing! The roads to get here are a little scary (just enough room for 1 car, not many passing places. So take care). Worth the roads though to spend a nice afternoon. A must vist
