Buddha- Monte-carlo - Monaco

Always wanted to give this place a try, and it's wonderful as expected :

Musice and the buddha bar vibe and the service! Food was excellent from asian favorites to local creations! Venue is huge and decoration is something to remember.

Beautiful club in the heart of Monte Carlo, nice service and drinks, crowded, ok dj, seems like a place to be in the night time.

I ordered the tepenyaki beef and noodles. I ordered it medium and it came very well cooked. I then returned it but had to eat alone. The noodles were incredibly salty, so much so that I couldn’t eat them. I sent them back and picked the mash potato instead which was more expensive. My girlfriend got the red curry, which she said was tasteless. At the end, I expected to at least get the mash potato taken off our bill but nothing was taken off it. I had to call the manager to contest it. In fairness, he struck off the main and a glass of wine. Imagine we didn’t contest it though and just accepted the below par food and bill. We visited last year during the pandemic and really enjoyed our visit. Last night it was a shell of what it was last year. Not worth it at all.

I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed by this experience. Serving this mediocre food for these prices should be criminal. I ordered the blackened cod that had absolutely no flavor, came out cold, and was slathered with a glaze that tasted like someone splashed it on the fish at the last second. It felt like a mistake. Then I ordered a side of rice (7 Euro by the way) which was complete mush, literally. When we told the server, you would think that he would have asked how our meal was going, if there was anything he could do, if we were happy. Nope. He just came back 15 minutes later with a side of rice that was properly cooked. It was impossible to get the attention of any of the server. The booth we were sitting at had a weird blanket on the seat like they were trying to cover up a stain. I am from Vegas and see what they were trying to do here (imitation of Tao) but wow is this bad. This experience completely ruined my last night in Monaco.
