The owner and staff are friendly and take pride in their cafe. What I love is that they recommended their favourites on the menu and they were spot on. The Shakshuka was AMAZING, the best I've ever had. Love this spot.

I've visited this café many times and it is worth the effort.The coffee is good, then menu is regularly updated and every now and then they have a short-term offering that is devine (Such as the Mushrooms served up last year).The café it self has indoor and outdoor seating with room for dogs.It also has a toilet, parking nearby and plenty of reading matter for free.

I popped in there for breakfast this morning totally by chance. It was the first place I saw and it had an interesting decor. On entry, I was greeted very warmly by both the waiter and the barista. I love it when you meet super-nice (very young!) men that go out of their way to make you feel welcome. In Manly (where I live) I often feel a bit invisible, not here though. The coffee was a perfect blend of delicious, hot, strong and pretty! My sourdough toast with vegemite and avocado was strangely tasty for something so simple. What an unexpected treat!

If you are in Mona Vale and want really great food ,I recommend walking up an arcade off the busy strip taking a table outside in the shade @ Three Doors Down.We three stopped for lunch and had a food appreciation moment !So often cafes menus are 'on trend' and feature similar sounding salads. Today in my choice of the pumpkin quinoa salad I had a taste bud surprise that made my eyes widen in delight.Friends I were with had special orders which including 'gluten free' apparently the gluten free bread was the best they had eaten.Coffee was good though my large cup could have been stronger. Staff relaxed and helpful
