Golden Unicorn Restaurant - MONA VALE

The fried rice had no flavour, was over cooked, clumpy and I swear had a whole egg shell in it. Every bite was crunchy. The salt and pepper squid was again, over cooked and inedible. It was a very expensive order and every dish was very poorly made. Everything ended up in the bin. Won't be coming back...

Ordered our take-away and came to collect - it wasn't ready (no big deal) but we had to wait a while. Then the food, decent sized portions - but not generous, unfortunately the quality was terrible. Food was greasy and with not much taste. Maybe we ordered on a bad day - but I will not risk going back to find out.

Had a take away meal , food was better than average, a little slower than the time promised to get ready for pick up and cashier service not fantastic but the food was better than average at a fair price. If you dine in , be warned, I noticed there are only 13 table settings there. 7 tables for couples , 3 tables for group of 4 and 3 tables for 6 or more.

I said last time we ate hear "never again".That said I believe any restaurant can have an off night or simply in this case an off night with a few orders.NOPE, tried it again and simply terrible.I rarely rate a place terrible but there is simply not one positive. I won't run through dish by dish why they were so bad as it's pointless.Sadly not a local business we can support.

Only people there. warm greeting, living social deal very average. reqeuested no onion and no MSG. so was given spring onion instead of sliced. fortunately no repercussions as the pieces were big enough to remove.
