Tribes Beer Company Taproom - Mokena

This one is specifically for the owner- my friends and I have visited since it's inception nearly 15 years ago. Dozens of us had a great time at the original establishment, forging lifelong friendships and always coming back as the brand and location changed many times in the area. We must've spent thousands there combined in our social group. The last few years we still come by to meet up as many of us are from out of town. Owner recognizes us, pretends not to yet barely acknowledges the loyalty or patronage of me or my friends. Barely a kind word and going right to asking to hold a card for the 2 beer tab in an empty bar. We are stand up people, always appreciated and showed respect. Clearly you could care less if we come or not. I never write bad reviews but my friends and I spoke and after the other day we will never come back. We could care less if you succeed or not. Your attitude so poor it moved me to write this. Too bad and Best of luck. Way to show that Irish warmth Niall. Also, we heard plenty of rumors and still withheld judgement. This bar isn't like it was at all.

I enjoyed a flight at Tribes, and I was happy with all the beers I tried. The trippel Mon Frere was probably my favorite, and it was an excellent example of the style. The bartender was friendly, and the whole space seemed pleasant, casual, and open.

This brewery is strictly beer and beer assortments with no other alcohol exclusives. It's a family friendly place too which is great. Seems to be a popular fixture in the community so I'm surprised it doesn't get more reviews. Overall it's got a really cozy environment that's welcoming.
