Cradle Forest Inn - Moina

Loved our recent stay at the Cradle Mountain Lodge, friendly warm welcome from the girls at the desk. Cabin was cosy very comfortable. Very clean well appointed. Had dinner at the in house restaurant enjoyed a great pizza. Staff even accommodated us with some fresh milk for a late night cuppa in our cabin. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Tassie for a holiday (actually already have to some friends since our return home). We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area.

Brilliant Place, Al' and I stay up there recently. For those who like that country log cabin type of atmosphere this is the real Macoy. This is the kind of stuff you read about in glossy magazines. Except Daniel and Dorothy are the real Macoy Warm fire place really friendly staff, nice beer Spirits wine selection top food even got cabins if you wish to stay some nights well worth trip. If your into walk there's heaps of walk tracks not far away.

This place is the best. Wonderful accommodation, restaurant, FOOD, bar, deck ...surrounds and lovely hosts. The layout of the Cabins is such that you feel you're in the middle of wilderness .... but a short walk up the garden path (watch for pademelons cute fury wallabies) is the Chalet with full bar, fire places, deck and stone oven) Moina ..... you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, at a junction of 2 back roads except for an illuminated Telstra phone box ...... it is SO Dark at night and You see SO Many Stars. As for the middle of nowhere everywhere is so close, from the Eastern Food Trail to Cradle mountain wilderness. Can't recommend this place Highly enough.
