La Bodeguilla Juanana - Mogán

My wife and I visited Peurto de Morgan for a day trip and called in at the La Bodeguilla Grill for a light lunch chasing the mixed tapas. When I say light lunch, there was plenty of fresh tapas on the plate which was washed down with a couple of glass of beer/white wine. The tapas was only 15.90 euros which in Peurto de Morgan is very reasonably priced and a large beer at 4.50 euros is hardly unreasonable. Service was great and I would definitely recommend La Bodeguilla Grill to others visiting this beautiful tourist destination.

Visited this restaurant in the 'Bandstand ' square and ate their specialty dish 'Cod la Bodeguilla '. This was cod, canaria potatoes veg. In a cheesy sauce , baked in the oven in a terracotta dish, very good, tasty,and quite filling so pleased we didn 't have starters. We last came here 2 years ago, and it was a pure tapas restaurant then, as the menu had changed, and also the staff. We noticed the staff taking plates of food to El Commandente restaurant on the opposite corner, so I suspect it has been taken over by them. Although the food was fine, I did prefer the tapas menu we had previously. Service good staff friendly, but obviously many changes here since the pandemic occurred,

We opted for this resto after visiting mogan many times over the past years. It was a mistake. Rushed service and overpriced for what you get. A starter of calamari rings at 18 euro is rip off considering you get 6 rings of frozen calamari. The mains were small also. There are many other better options around.

Great food with generous portions served by a very friendly staff. This is a great choice in the nice port of Puerto Mogan
