Rita's Italian Ice - Modesto

This restaurant is just as tasty as I remember from my time on the East Coast years ago! The staff at this location are also enthusiastic and helpful. It's a perfect summer indulgence. I highly recommend trying the gelati frozen custard and Italian ice combo.

Everyone who leaves this restaurant looks happy! I really enjoy the custard here. On a hot day, I recommend trying the Gelati, which is a mix of Italian Ice and Custard. Don't hesitate to sample all the flavors (as long as there's no one else waiting).

Nicole and Autumn really saved the day! I was incredibly impressed by their service. Instead of the usual eye roll I receive at other restaurants when I mention my gluten allergy, they took the time to research all the ingredients and provide me with fantastic recommendations. I was not disappointed at all - the island fusion ice was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and excellent service.

I can't tell the difference of their Frozen Custard and ice cream sold elsewhere. The flavors are good, my favorite is mint and coffee. Both are not super sweet and I find them both very refreshing.

Decent variety of flavors (although not 31). The Sunday we went in, only one person working behind the counter. She was doing a good job, but it made for a long wait time. I would visit again.
