Los Lagos Taqueria - Modesto

My wife and I stopped here for lunch while passing through Modesto. We both ordered a wet burrito, and they were not only incredibly tasty but also massive. We each had leftovers, taking more than half of our burritos home to enjoy for dinner later.

The customer service is friendly and welcoming. However, the carne asada doesn’t seem to meet the expectations of a traditional dish; it looks like it was cooked differently. The flavor is more reminiscent of carnitas with sauce.

Absolutely fantastic food! Delicious doesn’t even begin to describe it. My Asada Super Burrito was incredible—I finished every bite. The service was excellent, and my order arrived in no time. The atmosphere is bright, and the restaurant is very clean. It’s a perfect spot to relax with friends or enjoy a lunch break. Overall, a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

Great food and aromas are spectacular! My wife ordered green sauce, but they gave her red. But I ordered the red sauce. I had a Michelada with Pacifico Beer. It was delicious. I had a burrito and an enchilada with Carne Asada. My wife had a Chilean relleno and a chicken enchilada. Our two plates were served with beans and rice. We dived, so we served chips and salsa.

After the first time I ate here, I knew I would be back. It's one of my new favorite spots. Lots of choices on the menu. The food is fantastic. Very reasonably priced. Great service from the staff and the place is nice and clean.
