Depot Pub Grill - Mitchell

The food was great and the decor was cute. Overall we enjoyed it, but the service was not the biggest. There were many employees running around, but our server seemed to manage too many tables. It could have been a particularly busy night, but so we would return.

Great place to stop during my drive across the state. I had a grilled cheese with fresh spinach and some berry jam it was one of their specials. It was an interesting combination but it was really good!

This restaurant was very recommended. I would have given him 5 stars, except that the staff was not only unstoppable, but did not seem to enjoy their work. I enjoyed a burger with jalapeños and a raspberry sauce. My wife ordered Rueben filled potato skins that were delicious. The decor is unique. The restaurant sits right on the railways! The food is good, just do not expect satisfactory.

We spent the night in Mitchell. Remembered eating at the Depot a few times many years ago. It was just as good as I remembered. Our table had the walleye, steak tips, burger and Reuben sandwich, everyone was satisfied. The prices were decent.

A Delicious Goodbye! We decided to stop here based on a recommendation from the local REALTOR, Micah V. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The kids ordered the chicken bacon ranch along with some sides, and both of them ended up boxing up half of their meals for a snack later. My husband had the steak bites with potatoes and the spicy cheeseburger chowder, plus some shrimp. I went for the seafood mac and cheese, which had bold shrimp and was a generous portion—so much that I only managed to finish half. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly, and the location was conveniently accessible from the Interstate.
