Portia's Cafe - Missouri

My work sneaks over for breakfast and lunch. Nice ladies up front but the magic happens in that kitchen. She knows what she's doing opening the door letting wonderful breakfast smells rolling into where I work. Oh, and bring your wallet.

For anyone who has not been here- you have to try it NOW!! Not only is the food PHENOMENAL, but the staff here are the FRIENDLIEST and most pleasant people I've ever encountered in a restaurant in Kansas City and I've lived here my entire life. They close early in the afternoon, so don't dilly dally around

This place is fantastic! A tiny hole in the wall that is easy to miss while driving by. It was filled with construction workers at 11:30 am and I see why! Best breakfast around and the prices cannot be beat! The owner, Portia, came out and asked each table how they were and if the food was good. She was a doll! The server, Kenna, is the best and a total doll too! She calls everyone friend and makes you feel like family. I highly recommend this place!
