Holzhauser's Grill - Missouri

Took the boat from hermann to Portland hunting and stopped in at this little bar resturaunt damn good food at a very reasonable price we left with our stomachs full.

As a native Missourian visiting his home state after a long absence, I couldn't be happier about this place. We were biking the Katy trail and stopped here for a break, and it was just about perfect. Tasty comfort food and good service from a lady who was the bartender, cook, manager, bouncer, and hostess. One of the few spots between Jeff City and Hermann. Good burgers and beer (no tap). Bathroom is a little odd.

Excellent burgers. Tater tots and onion rings were over done. Friendly service but long wait for food. Not really any vegetarian options.

The food and company were wonderful and outstanding. Will be back.
