Harpo's - Missouri

Nice bar. Good selection of drinks and nice staff. Nothing bad but nothing remarkable. Was a quiet spot to grab a few drinks with some friends while visiting KC from out of town

2 stars only because the fries were nice and crispy. They have a pretty small menu which is ok, but make sure the food is good for crying out loud! Nachos are literally shredded cheese and some chicken with jalapeños and green onions. By the time you get the top layer off you are out of toppings, the chips are thin and break easily. It was okay. Server seemed a tad snarky, but warmed up — a bit. Good job on the Fish Chips, tho. That was the only reason I was there.

Did I ever tell you about that one time when there was actually one person who existed in the universe that was worth a ! ? Because it happened at Harpo's, let me tell everyone the story. I had a budget to take some of my coworkers for special night out. Because we had a really great month and everyone came through with their performance. Passed by this place dozens of times,finally went in,glad I did it had a very good atmosphere, nice vibe,,didn't venture around to much I was in a mood but I think it also had outdoor patio but don't quote me on that, I do know they serve food late and the service was excellent…I will be back
