フィードバックを提供するSure it's a chain, but it's a good one! Pizza is good with lots of fun options like Thai pie, hot Hawaiian, and buffalo wing. The new 406 summer menu and the foodie fare menus really mix things up. Recommend the street corn nachos and the Frito pie (hope these stick around). Been coming here for years, always hits just right.
Okay pizza, okay food, but nice atmosphere. The inside of the North Reserve location is decorated really beautifully with a Montana theme. A good place for big groups as their menu is huge but when a menu is so big it usually means everything is frozen. And yes it is. Not the best pizza in town but not the worst!
Got sat at our table around 700pm. Waitress was a very nice young girl. She took our order...2 Tuscan Chicken Penne Pasta bowls and 2 lemonade drinks. Got the drinks and then sat and waited till nearly 8pm. She only checked on us once during the wait. Mentioned our food was coming soon, giggled and left. Dinner came sloppily dished into the bowls and the bowls were dirty around the edges. Pasta was cold and chicken only lukewarm. No Parmesan cheese like it's described and mine had very few tomatoes while my husband had an abundance and even gave me some of his. Some of the pasta was crunchy so I left it in the bowl and we ate just what was warmest because we figured if we sent it back it would take another hour to comer back to us. The young waitress was nice enough to discount our meal and apologize. They were very well staffed and there were plenty of empty tables so they weren't slammed. This is the second bad experience and sadly will be our last visit...can't handle a third strike!
You ever go to one of those restaurants that just makes you feel like you 're on vacation? This is it. Soy cheese pizza with a variety of different crusts to choose from and extremely impressive variety of veggies. Welcoming, friendly, fun. Note that the soy cheese is kind of buried in the menu as a 'topping ' instead of being listed as one of the cheese choices. That is my only complaint about the place. I didn 't notice it until *after* we ordered, so I had to call the waitress back and re-order which made me feel like I was being kind of rude (she hadn 't put in the order yet, but still). Why not list it as a cheese choice? Traveling through cattle country on a road trip, it seemed like every hotel and restaurant we went into is decorated with the heads of dead animals on the wall. What is with that? As soon as we walked into MacKenzie 's, I knew we were in a good place. It has a slightly western theme but they do it in a humane way with a carved wooden bear at the hostess station, 'old time ' jugs and bottles, an old school row boat hanging from the ceiling. Montana deserves a standing ovation for having a restaurant chain like this.
Have you ever been to a restaurant that makes you feel like you're on vacation? That's Mackenzies for you. They offer soy-cheese pizza with a variety of different crust options and an impressive selection of desserts. The staff is warm, friendly, and humorous. My only complaint is that the soy cheese option was buried in the menu as a topping instead of being listed as a cheese choice. This led to a slight mix-up with my order, but the waitress handled it gracefully. The restaurant has a western theme with unique decor like a carved wooden bear at the hostess station and an old rowboat hanging on the deck. Overall, Mackenzies in Montana is deserving of praise for its unique atmosphere and delicious food.
