After waiting patiently for 20 minutes while other tables ordered and we served (also those who came after us) I went... forward and asked if I could place a job. We waited another 35 minutes without food and no contact from the server while each table was served, eaten and paid next to us. A guy came to us in 45 minutes and was served immediately. The staff completely ignored us because we were not asish. Think about the places you support before you go here. That was a shame.
After a few years returned to see a change of name. Service was slightly chaotic, but understandable, as still popular and busy at noon, obviously having a good bowl of riddles. Try it. Personally, felt a little hurry to clear the table for the...queue. So not sure if I want to return here, how to chew and digest.
Good restaurant for those seeking vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. You have great options for meat eaters and vegans. Takoyaki balls are my favorite, and of course the rams.
An online booking in advance for a 12PM weekday lunch in late Nov. We arrived 5 minutes early and on the presentation of COVID 19 vaccination pass and government issued IDs, a masked server showed us on a 4 seat table near the checkout. It was our first time since the restaurant changed its name from Kenzo Ramen to Kamen Ramen. The interior looked the same, except for the Plexiglas partitions and the wider spaces between the tables. Camen was busy with the constant arrival of take-out, pick-up and Dine to the customer during lunch hour, and even though we arrived ready with our food choice we had to wait to get the attention of the server. Customers can either scan the QR code for the online menu or ask for a physical menu of the staff. Our lunch includes: Takoyaki 6pc $12.95) Chicken Karaage $11) Tonkatsu side $12.50) Black Garlic Tonkotsu $14.95) Eggy Shoyu Cams $12.95) King Cams mild $15.95) Waiting time was reasonable. Takoyaki and chicken caraage were served after 16 minutes waiting time, while the rams arrived another 7 minutes later. We decided to order a page of pork tonskatsu after we have seen an appetite plate on the table above ours. The food was just as we remembered tasty and a bit expensive, but the portions for the price. Service was pleasant. We ordered more than enough food for our party of 3 so we ended up with residues that we packed with the Styro tablet and bowl on request.
Really good bowl of ramen everything was really tasty. The place is a little hard to find, as we were looking for a sign on the building and it really wasn't there just a little flag type sign by the window. It feels...a little ...ordinary inside. Nothing distinctive about the interior or very appealing in terms of ambience. But the food was really good, service was attentive and they did their best to accommodate some allergy issues. Will definitely go back.
