Farol Churrasqueira - Mississauga

Just came here and got food to go the guy was so nice... He packed up the rice and potatoes proper. I've been binging on the potatoes I almost choked on them because they are so good and couldn't stop. The sauce on them is very good and the texture is perfect... I didn't like the rice at first but after some bites, it grew on me- it's more so the peas I was not fond of but I like the tiny tiny cut up carrot cuticles that are integrated throughout. I think I got my money's worth. Will return.

We have been dining at this restaurant for years. It is a family-style churrasqueira that serves incredibly delicious Portuguese chicken. The chicken is made fresh throughout the day and is priced very reasonably at $15 for a whole chicken - a great deal in my opinion. I love their homemade piri piri sauce and their classic ball potatoes. I also recommend trying the Portuguese tarts from the bakery next door.

What an incredible find! My colleague suggested i try this place and I finally took the plunge today! Super tasty food, wide selection and the most amazing staff! Since it was my first time, I also received some complementary items to try How sweet is that? Go ahead and support this gem of a place! Happy Eating!

I tried this place for the first time. Its a nice family run place mainly for take outs. They are packed with long queue but it moves fast . The price is very reasonable for a family meal with whole chicken. They gave me a complimentary appetizer box since they figured out it was my first time. Their Cod rolls and Shimp patty are amazing.

Fav Portuguese place, always fresh, I ordered many times. Great for a family meal, sometimes there's a line but worth the wait. Also the prices are pretty reasonable. Staff is friendly. Definitely recommended! :
