The food and the ambiance were awesome . It's totally worth the money. Was there for lunch, good food choices. Small menu, but the food was awesome. Decent wine collection.Felt a lack of attention in the service initially, but it picked up when the senior server took up the table.Another thing, I did not appreciate the bill on the table before I asked it. I would have asked for another coffee, but I didn't because the bill was already there.
The food is delicious, the staff is very helpful and the ambiance is charming and inviting. The pancakes, French toast and home fries are also great from the brunch menu that I’ve tried. Also the ravioli, pizza hummus (not together) also satisfy the taste pallets!
Came here with a friend for a girls dinner date and had a great evening! We shared the bag of bread as an appetizer and it was good! We both enjoy eating bread in general so this was a good start. The dip for the bread was so yummy that we had to ask for another serving of it! Because bread in itself is very filling, I would advise against finishing the entire bag before your meal but rather eat it along with your meal. The pizzas were fantastic! Not over cooked or burnt and not undercooked and soggy. It was perfect and crispy. The Sangria was tasty too. The ideal summer beverage. The staff were friendly and attentive. You didn’t have to ask for refills of water because they came to you when they noticed your glass was almost empty. They even filled up our sangria glasses too when we were running low.Overall a great experience, definitely recommend this nice local spot :
We had the Bruschetta, Margherita pizza, Gnocchi di Patate and Castagnole. To start, I would say the Bruschetta we were not a big fan of as the bread was a bit stale and did not have much flavour. However, everything else was amazing! The Margherita pizza was one of the best I have ever had. The dough was amazing, soft, crispy and had a great undercarriage. The sauce was really good as well, as it had a great tang and the first marg where they put so much sauce on it. The piece that tied everything together was the cheese. This is the best cheese I've had as the Fior di latte was so good I wanted more. The gnocchi was delicious as well. It was hand-crafted fresh pasta and the spinach sauce had so much flavour One of the best pastas we've had. Finally, we had the Castagnole. This is fried dough with caramel sauce and whipped cream. The dough and how they fried it was great. It tasted really good and I could have eaten that by itself. Combined with the caramel sauce and whipped cream elevated it.Overall, I would say for the presentation all the meals were beautifully done and I would give it a 4/5 overall. For taste, the bruschetta is a 2/5, but the marg was a 5/5, the pasta was 4.5/5 and the dessert was a 4/5. Lastly, for portion, the marg at $19 is a 4/5, the pasta at $24 was a 3.5/5 as it was a small sample but still very filling and the Carmagnole I would say is a 3.5/5.Great place and we will be back for more!
