Best Mexican cuisine in Mission Viejo. Authentic, inexpensive and great service. Take out the week. Awesome chips and guacamole and wet burritos are excellent.

Good Mexican food at reasonable prices, my carnitas burrito was awesome.

I regret to give this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 because I ordered 3 add-ons for my burrito that were not included, even though I was charged for them. The portions were small, and honestly, the prices were quite high for what you get. On the positive side, the place was clean, and there was no wait time, which was definitely a plus!

Whenever we had a potluck at work, someone would always bring chips and salsa from this place. I usually come here for the chips and salsa, but I finally decided to try their hard shell tacos, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were! I really appreciate how they keep the warm and cold ingredients separate. The bowl and the meat were served warm, while the salad, cheese, and onions were nice and cold. These tacos were amazing! They’re only $2 on Taco Tuesdays. My husband always orders the Big Dave Burrito with carne asada; it's his absolute favorite. The service was good, and I noticed they made sure to wipe down all the common areas in the restaurant while we were there.

My brother recommended this restaurant, and his family has been coming here for years. They always get tamales for Christmas Eve, which made us curious. We decided to check it out, and we were not disappointed. I sampled everything on the menu, including the sweet options, and I enjoyed them all. I plan to try more dishes in the future; I saw a burrito being made, and it was massive and looked amazing. If you’re after great tamales, you can’t go wrong with Las Golondrinas.
