Silver creek cafe -  Mission,

This is a little gem of a place for breakfast and lunch. It is in an industrial area which makes it out of the way but worth the drive. This place makes the best butter chicken ever! The lady who runs the place makes just about everything from scratch. No tomato soup in the butter chicken!! The naan melts in your mouth! The chai is sooooo good. My friend has been here 4 times. Please try this place and support this hard working honest woman who makes fabulous food, not just Indian but lots of western foods. The decor is basic and clean. Check hours before going as they are limited.

Silver Creek Cafe is a little out of the way, isolated as it is in a small industrial park off the highway on the west end of Mission, but it's worth the drive. The food - a variety of Western and Indian cuisine - is very good and the owner is friendly and provides gracious service. This was our first visit and we will go back. The butter chicken, with fresh naan, was excellent, as was the sweet chillie chicken wrap. Good coffee, too, and a surprisingly comfortable ambience considering the type of building the cafe is in.

Not the easiest place to get to but well worth it! Been stopping in and to-go for lunch for a year or so and love this cafe. Cosy, friendly, excellent value and delicious! The Silver Creek Clubhouse is my favourite sandwich!
