Flap Jacks Cafe - Minong

This morning, four of us decided to have breakfast around 9:30. Although the restaurant wasn't too busy, we ended up waiting for over an hour without any explanation or apology for the delay. When we noticed a table that arrived after us being served, we approached the waitress to express our concern about still waiting for our food. Instead of addressing our complaint, she told us she wasn’t the cook, accused me of being rude for mentioning the long wait, and curtly suggested that if we weren't happy, she could cancel our order and we could leave. Frustrated, we chose to get up and head to Wendy’s across the street instead. We've been to this restaurant before and often brought our large family with us, but after this experience, we will never return.

We have really enjoyed our experiences at Flap Jack's, especially since it came under new management. I noticed a comment about long wait times, but that must have been from before the new ownership. I encourage those who had a negative experience back in 2011 to give it another chance now. The food and service are fantastic!

I absolutely love this pancake house! They serve both flapjacks and pancakes. It's very cozy and clean, and the staff is friendly; especially Holly, the waitress who has been there for years. The food is outstanding, and the staff is top-notch. It's a must-stop if you're passing through. Don't miss out on trying the breakfast burrito!
