Godfather's Pizza - Minden

I visited this restaurant a few years ago and was completely underwhelmed. The pizza was so bland, I couldn't tell if I was eating the pizza or the cardboard box it came in. However, I recently stopped by for a quick lunch and tried their meat lovers slices. I was pleasantly surprised! The pizza was fresh, had a generous amount of toppings, and a thick crust. If this is the new standard for the restaurant, count me in!

I recently ordered take-out pizza and was impressed with how it looked and tasted. However, two issues with the toppings prevented me from giving it a 5-star rating. Firstly, the canned mushrooms had a terrible appearance and texture, with no real mushroom flavor. Secondly, the green bell pepper pieces seemed to be frozen beforehand, resulting in a soft texture and off-color. I was disappointed as fresh versions of these toppings are widely available and would greatly enhance the overall taste of the pizza.

I searched for Godfather's Pizza online and found out that they were supposed to be open until 11:00 PM. However, when I called at 10:15 PM to place an order, the employee informed me that they had been trying to get headquarters to update their hours for the past 2 years. I suggested that they should make the change, but the employee refused. I was not impressed by their lack of effort to synchronize their online hours with their actual store hours, especially in a town like Minden where people enjoy late night food in the summer.

Never been with those Godfathers. Go to friends and decided to dinner on the way. When we arrived, the pizza was taken out. The staff was okay. When we arrived with our friends, we heated the pizza... what a disappointment! Tasteless pizza not easy to make! Had two types of pizza only taste on either was the tomato sauce. Crust was almost like cardboard. Will not go back and recommend giving him a passport.

I'll keep it short. We visited at lunch time on a long weekend. Only on staff member working both the cash register and kitchen. 4 people ahead of us in line. I'm guessing it would have been an hour by the time we got our...food. Sadly, we left. But shocked to fine only one person staffing the store. Once again; a long weekend one staff member lunchtime.
