West Allis Cheese Sausage Shoppe

Hit or miss at this place. I strongly discourage you to order the chicken and waffles. The chicken is a frozen patty, that is spongey with zero shred. On top of that, the waffles have kidney stone size chunks of sugar in them. Then to top it off, you pay $15 for the frozen chicken and waffle. Over priced, and very underwhelming. I do however, want to say their sandwiches looked very good, and their American breakfast plate looked tasty. Unfortunately, I am going to have to review this place based off what I ordered. I have put a picture of their spongy chicken, and sugar rocks.

I received awesome recommendations to take home back to TN. Loved that there are little insulated bags for purchase in case you're a goof and forgot like I did. I can't wait to enjoy everything!

The nueske liver sandwich is great, but is even better with a bit of spicy mustard. 9.2/10Honestly, their monthly special sandwich is always a hit.

I placed an order and waited 30 minutes to be served, but nothing came out. We decided to ask the cashier about our food, and he informed us that “they forgot to make it.” He then offered us the option to wait another 10 minutes for our food or get a refund. I suppose the food must be good if you're willing to wait nearly an hour for it.

You can tell a sandwich and cheese shop is worth visiting when there's a line out the door. I decided to try the fried cheese curds, because when you're in Wisconsin, you have to sample the cheese!
