Hungry Sumo - Milwaukee

Went the other day and had a great time! The food was great, they make all of the sushi out in the open. The fried mushroom steamed rolls were a surprising highlight as a starter! It's a really fun atmosphere as well: lively, fun decor, and intimate. Keep in mind they don't accept reservations and they are quite busy. Expect at least 30 minute wait and they don't have much space to wait inside. We went to Crafty Cow for a drink while waiting.

I love this place! I always come here for the tonkotsu ramen and pork buns. Always busy during dinner time though, so i'd recommend getting a reservation. Better yet, come during lunch time! Friends say the sushi is great as well! I just can't have it : . See attached photos!

Finally visited after several recommendations it did not disappoint !! Vegan mango tango roll was delicious service was great. So many vegan options so I will definitely be back
