Good City Brewing Downtown - Milwaukee

Great location! We were here for a wedding. The private hall has a gorgeous renewed industrial feel. We sneaked up to the rooftop patio and the Milwaukee sunset was gorgeous! The beer is pretty decent here. We loved the Octoberfest. We had an appetizer that we really enjoyed, but the catered food for the wedding was a little lacking. It tasted good, but could’ve been executed better. The Mac and cheese was a one-note cheese sauce without any add-ins. The chicken sandwich was one of the thinnest butterflied tenderloins possible. It was actually crispy on the edges, although the rest of the sandwich was good. Overall a good experience. But we wish the food had been better.

Ren was so attentive and kind and patient. This was my first visit to good city and was not sure where to start. I felt so welcomed and encouraged to find the perfect beer for me. It was busy yet I didn’t feel rushed and felt glad I decided to come into the brewery. I’m not sure the next time I will be in town, but I will definitely suggest this as a must when in Milwaukee

Had a great time here enjoying their awesome beer. Lots of unique options on tap and a slew of really special stuff in cans. Was able to split a few 16 oz cans which was really cool. Will definitely swing by here again next time I'm in the city. Definitely glad we went here!

This place is awesome. They have tiny pizzas that taste just like big pizzas and their cheese curds are phenomenal. Not the best in the city, but damn close. And honestly, have you ever had a BAD cheese curd? (If you say yes, you’re wrong. Here was the cherry on top of a fine day drinking afternoon — BECKY THE BARMAID. Friendly. Helpful. Made good drinks. Made good recommendations. She put on Pandora station SPECIFICALLY for me and danced along to the tunes. What a fun gal.

Great selection of Beers and IPAs. Had several tasters... liked all but one (Pineapple Hose ewe). Great vibe especially on Game night. Lady behind the bar, Becky was friendly and chatty. RECOMMEND.
