Belair Cantina Downer Avenue

Our server just didn't listen. He read back our order, he was corrected. Then he brought the wrong stuff. Order brought incomplete, we had to ask for it. One item got credited because it was never brought. It's a nice place, the food is good. We had a nice time.

Good Mexican food, got a Chimichanga and was good. My girl got a melon mix drink and she really enjoyed it. Because it's downtown the parking is always a pain, but that's a city layout issue not the business. The server we had was very friendly and attentive, even though it was the end of the shift. So quality till the end, I like that.

Bel-Air always has great food options, but we seem to have recurring issues at this paeticular Downer Ave location. From getting the wrong food, missing food and, today, no avocado on the tostada. There always seems to be something that goes astray on our visits to this location versus the Water St/Humboldt location (which is a 5 star location).

Charming restaurant with a diverse selection of delicious tacos, friendly staff, and excellent guacamole with chips.
