Pepper Lunch - Milpitas

Reasonable price, better than sizzling imo. I like to add one egg on it to make it more tasty.

The food is average, far inferior to sizzling lunch

I came in for Sunday lunch and was thoroughly disappointed. Upon arrival, the server with long hair and glasses didn’t bother to look up from his phone to greet me. Instead, he immediately retreated to the back. A different server had to step in a moment later to seat us. Later, when I attempted to flag him down for utensils, he simply walked past our table, engrossed in his phone. This experience has left me with no desire to return here.

Diner beware. This location is not official location of the Pepper Lunch chain, so the offerings may look the same, do not expect it to measure up to the real thing. Was this an official location and refused to change the name when the real thing pulled out of Norcal? I’ve frequented Pepper Lunch overseas as well as the Las Vegas and Alhambra locations, and this does have the same look and feel, and nor do they make an effort to make that distinction.

The original. Way better than the copycat Sizzling Lunch.
