Delicious food served on cast iron to keep hot. Small café, make sure for reservations. Service was slow because cafe was full, not server errors.

Alex is great. Food is great. We eat here at least twice a month.

I never had slower service in my life. When we went to my men's birthday for our 730 reservation, it took almost 20 minutes to get to our table for drinks. We have our drinks in a little contemporary mansion. I then had to fly another server to take over our dinner order. We only got our entrees 930. I worked in the restaurant/sickness business for 11 years. I saw servers polish silverware, and glassware and entertainment. If it was busy, I would not have complained because I did not complain (probably hard to believe about this review. The fact that we were sitting around 730 and not leaving until about 1045 for a 4 top is something to remain silent. There was enough help and it wasn't busy. It was simply a lack of attention for guests because servers were too busy to do their side work to pay attention to their tables. The food was absolutely amazing, but when someone goes there, do not go there hungry or thirsty because you will wait a while. (My husband even mentioned before we left that they were known for slow service and I had eaten before we left.... Please correct your service standards.
