Great casual place to meet friends and have a terrific bowl of pasta and glass of wine

Our server was great. However the older blond woman at the door was rude and clearly does not know what she is doing in terms of managing reservations and seating a room properly. I am in the business and she was an embarrassment. Being a gate keeper is not good hospitality. Further, the dining room manager a blond man with a sport coat was completely clueless as he dropped our final course at our table without noticing that we needed our previous course cleared and to be remarked with fresh flatware. The sever immediately saw this and apologized on behalf of the manager. He was not engaging with tables and clearly does not know how a dining room works. The food was fine but we will never be back.

We love Piatti and always look forward to fantastic Italian dishes as well as excellent fish dishes. The wait staff is the best!

I was a pre -remodeling Piatti’s regular. I am sad to say our dining experience today was disappointing on several levels. Our waiter was a bit casual with his chit chat. The manager stacked plates on the table! YES! Stacked our plates on the table before taking them away. He also wore keys around his belt loop which made me feel like he was on his way out of the restaurant. My Cesar had too much dressing yet otherwise was delicious. I was disappointed with no mains being on the lunch menu. It seems Piatti’s has turned into a pricey pizza, pasta and sandwich place? We enjoyed seeing the new remodeling yet question tables next to take out station. Who would want to dine next to that station ? Change in this pandemic world is inevitable yet I am very sad to see my favorite restaurant loose it’s regular staff, charm and elegance . Instead of choosing Piatti’s for a family celebration or special weekday meal out, I would likely turn elsewhere. I miss sitting at the bar and having brunch. I miss the friendly staff I’d known for years. I miss a manager with proprietary interest and professionalism. I will be back because it is close to home but I won’t run. Good luck.

Great dinner and great experience. The staff was lovely and the food was delicious! The remodel looks great.
