フィードバックを提供するThe service was terrible. I don't want anyone to lose their job, but it is clear that these young staff members need better training. The overall experience was disappointing. The restaurant is small with high ceilings, which already makes it difficult to have a conversation. Adding a piano player in such a tiny dining room only made things worse, turning it into a noisy and chaotic environment. I could have overlooked the noise if the food had been served warm.
I have frequented Jeffreys several times over the years, but this last visit left me very disappointed for various reasons. We went on Easter Sunday at 6:30 and found the restaurant to be nearly empty, with only 4 other customers present. Despite the lack of patrons, the service was slow and the waiter had an unhelpful attitude. The specials menu had numerous errors and items were unavailable. To top it off, they refused to accept my gift card which clearly stated it was valid every day except for Christmas, New Years, and Thanksgiving. The staff was rude and argumentative about this, even though there were only six people in the restaurant. On a positive note, the stuffed date appetizer was delicious, but the entrees were just average and did not meet the previous standards of this restaurant.
We were new to this restaurant and were initially surprised by the noise from the singer. We were told to take a seat wherever we liked and then left on our own. My husband seemed ready to leave, but eventually we were given a menu, followed by a drink. The singer turned out to be surprisingly talented. The waiter was friendly, though possibly new, and the food was excellent. Overall, I believe this is a place where you can enjoy both good food and entertainment and potentially become a regular customer.
Awful service, don't want anyone fired but someone needs to train these kids. The overall experience was disappointing, it's small with high ceilings which already make it hard to talk but throw in the piano player in a pint size dining room and it becomes s scream fest Could have dealt with the noise if the food was warm when it arrived
I have been to Jeffreys many times over the years and I have to say I was very disappointed this last time we went for many reasons. We went on Easter Sunday at The place was empty. The whole time we were there only other patrons were in the restaurant. Despite that the service was slow. The waiter had an attitude when we asked for a wine list and was not responsive to questions. The specials menu was full of typographical and other errors and they were out of several things. The evening was topped off when they refused to take my gift card which clearly stated on it that it was valid everyday but Christmas, New Years and Thanksgiving. They refused to take it because it was Easter despite there being a total of six people in the restaurant. I specifically checked the gift card before we made the reservation. They were very rude and argumentative about this as well. As for the food the stuffed date appetizer was very good. The entrees were acceptable but not of the former quality of this restaurant
