Canal House Station is an exquisite culinary experience, we are happy to have it in the area. Sunday dinner is particularly charming, a civilized anchor for the weekend, which frees one from the weight of advice with a correspondingly refined solid menu. The old train terminal is exquisite and welcoming and the service is effortlessly attentive. From inserting into the last bite of the desert you can find the mentally designed courses and relax in the company of your party. It's just a perfect meal!

The two of us believe that this is in every way the best restaurant in the area (including Frenchtown, Lambertville and New Hope). We are here several times, and the food and service were absolutely excellent. The only complaint we ever had (and it was once and minimal) was with an understandably slow waiting staff after the pandemic I think was new at the time and in training. We haven't had this problem since.

Complements to the Head Chef and all other Chefs as well as any of the Kitchen staff. We will be back! We had out Wedding Anniversary dinner here.
