Fasta Pasta - MILE END

Fasta Pasta on Henley Beach Road is a regular haunt so to celebrate a family educational milestone, a visit was in order.  Feeling like something other than pasta, I tried the Italiano burger with chips.   The burger is ingrained in my memory as one of the nicest burgers I've ever had, not quite sure what did it but not too much sauce/aiolo, not so much filling that it has to be pulled apart to eat, and a resolved combination of flavours that was just plain satisfying.  Would have got 5! if décor enabled it to not be so noisy inside + staff friendly rather than courteous.  4.5 though is a rap!

Used to come here all the time for the penne monte carlo and the minestrone soup. It's hard to base a whole restaurant on a couple of meals but something has changed these last few years. The chicken is different, the mushrooms are rubbery and the sauce is too peppery. What was once a hearty minestrone no longer seems to satisfy. I hope it's just a temporary thing as I'd love to see the food return to its former glory.

Great family dining in or take away, good atmosphere and once they know you the ask if you want your standard order. Takeaway is hot and good value for money

With entrees starting from a few dollars, to mains under 10 dollars, this is a great place to sit down for a discount feed, without the frantic environment

I felt like something else than pasta, I tried the italiano burger with chips. the burger has sunk in my memory as one of the most beautiful burgers I've ever had, not quite sure what it did, but not too much sauce/aiolo, not so much filling that it has to be pulled apart to eat, and a solution of aromen that was simply satisfying. would have 5! if décor made it possible not to be so loud within the personal friendly and not polite. 4.5 although is a rap!
