Maia Bistrot - Milano

Maia Bistrot is located centrally in Milan and is a short walk away from Duomo. I had a late lunch here on a Friday afternoon between visiting tourist attractions. The waiter advised that pretty much all of the hot items on the menu were not available including my subsequent choice of pumpkin flan. I opted for Parma ham, buffalo mozzarella and tomato to start and marinated salmon salad for main. The Parma ham was excellent and plentiful but the salmon salad less good. For dessert, I had a mini chocolate orange mousse which was pleasant. To drink, I had gin tonic and a couple of glasses of grappa. Service was decent and my bill was €39. I think I may have been unfortunate with the timing of my visit but it was disappointing to not have any hot options.

Stopped by for lunch and really enjoyed it. portion sizes were great, prices very reasonable considering the excellent central location and staff friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Welcoming local,very friendly staff,tasty and pleasant italian cuisine. There are also dome interesting vegetarian and vegan proposed.

Locale molto carino, accoglienza informale e gentile. Ottima pausa pranzo... sfiziosa!

Sono stata in questo locale un paio di volte a pranzo con i colleghi. Servizio gentile, posti un po’ limitati ma è comprensibile essendo in centro a Milano. Scelta dei piatti non troppo varia ma con alternative anche vegetariane e vegane che possono accontentare tutti. Consigliata la Caesar Salad. Nel complesso lo consiglierei per una pausa pranzo semplice e non troppo costosa.
