La Basilicata - Milano

This is a no-frill restaurant serving good food at a reasonable price. It has two different ovens/kitchens one for normal food and the other one gluten-free. Beyond pizza they have a vide variety of food including fish and there is a menu of the day indicated in the restaurant blackboard. Unfortunately they di not have home made fresh pasta and due to the large number of customers the service can sometimes be very slow. The restaurant is located within one of the span of the rail embankment. I advise eating here.

La Basilicata does a great gluten free pizza as well as offering a wide range of typical Italian dishes and traditional pizza. Staff are efficient and friendly. This is one of the most trusted pizzerias in the milan area for those suffering from celiachia and who need to be sure there will be no gluten contamination. There is a separate wood oven for the gluten free pizza.

Every now and then I go and I have to consider this restaurant/pizzeria as honest as its kind. both the pizza and the dishes offered in the menu are well prepared and therefore always appetizing. good service and only the cost of the account... also recurrence the possibility in the kitchen to prepare pizzas and gluten-free dishes for those who need a specific diet
